The web design process begins with communicating clear goals. You will work with the same designer from start to finish ensuring organized and professional service. Progress is recorded through emails and weekly reports. See our list below to view the complete process.  

1. Initial meeting is set to discuss your goals for your site. Domain names and hosting are discussed. Page layouts, navigation, text photos, forms, etc. are discussed. Site management and marketing are discussed. Sample sites and prepared content are used to conceptualize the project.  

2. A free quote is drawn from the initial meeting. Changes for accuracy should be made at this time. Price is subject to change due to amendments of the original quote. 

3. Once quote is agreed upon, a 50% deposit is required to get started and in some circumstances a contract is necessary. 

4. Clients begin receiving drafts, at which time they will guide changes for a look and feel of the site. SVC begins with the home page and includes the best photos and an introduction to the rest of your site. Templates and library items are created to unify pages.  

5. Once the look and feel is right, we begin adding content, links and site capabilities. Prepared content helps speed the process. If help is needed for writing or professional photography SVC can help. We begin to keyword pages for search engines and marketing.  

6. When content is complete the site is tested in several browsers and connection speeds for compatibility.  

7. We embed code, which reports traffic of the site. These reports show page popularity, sit hits; time spent viewing your site and much more. These statistics are helpful for marketing strategies. 

8. Once a site is uploaded and tested, it is then launched! We submit domain name to popular search engines and online directories. Additional marketing is available as well as site maintenance.

The size of the web site and the participation level of our client dictate our project time line. The average time for small sites, 1-10 pages, is about 1-2 weeks, and for a larger site of 10-20 pages, may be 2 weeks and large sites, up to 2-3 months.
