Sunny Valley Creations’ Photographer, Roxanne Herres, uses a variety of lighting techniques and digital enhancements in order to create a special look for your sitting.  You will have choices of both in the studio or outside on our beautifully maintained grounds for your portrait sessions!

With a choice of 5 different color backgrounds (black, white, gray, autumn orange or sky blue) there are many exciting props for your sitting that include a wooden radio flier wagon, antique black & red trunk, antique black leather chaise (very popular), country white bench, container baskets  antique chairs and much,  much more!  We are constantly adding to our props to wear during sessions.  Call for details!

You may choose your setting outdoors!   Right outside our studio, there are rock walls, flower gardens, wagon wheels, old white fences, benches, covered porch and porch swing.  We also have nearby scenic vistas and local land marks including an old red school building, red barn, railroad tracks, and covered bridge!

We will travel on location and use natural light, scenic backgrounds, or window light from the outdoors to create beautiful portraits during your session.  Also, Sunny Valley Creation’ studio is mobile, and can be packed up and brought on the road! This includes lights, backgrounds and an assortment of seating and props.  Just let us know what you have in mind! 

BEST TIME
Morning or late afternoon / evenings work best.

Plan on booking at least one week ahead.

WHAT TO BRING
For individual sessions, clients may bring change of clothing and props as needed. If you have a hat, jacket, scarf, shoes or boots that you love, bring them! They make the best photos!

WHAT TO WEAR
Dress in clothing that is comfortable and that fits your style whether it’s casual or formal.     
Everyone in a group sitting is encouraged to wear the same style & color clothing.  

PRODUCTS
Photos are professionally printed on archival finishes. We also have frames, canvases, books, greeting cards and gift items available online.

POLICIES
Full sitting fee: due at the time of booking or day of photos.  no-later.  
For On Location Travel: for more than 40 miles there will be an additional free.
Sitting fees are non-refundable and may be used toward a later session.
Retouching:  includes smooth skin and whiter eyes and teeth.
Extensive retouching: additional fee.
Photos viewing and purchases:  may  be viewed and online and purchased as prints or as gift items.
Proof book:  $30.00 charge.
Photos will be ready two weeks after your sitting.
Creation fees are for Roxanne's time only. Prints are sold separately.
